Self paced
tutorials
A common experience in today’s workplace is stress, conflict and change. This has become a part of everyday life in organizations and even in our daily personal lives. Often, the real difficulty is learning to be resilient and not allow the stress to affect your performance and relationships. This module will help you bounce back from daily stress and adversity in the workplace. Even further, you can apply these strategies in your personal life to cope with stress and improve resilience. Of course being resilient will not prevent difficulties and challenges in life. However, it could provide you with the strength, wherewithal, and guidance to remain focused on performance, so that you recover and move on to continue making progress, instead of becoming stuck or stagnant on your path. Resilience is an important ability for anyone living with stress to remain focused and goal-oriented.
Developing resilience is an important ability and coping strategy in today’s world. Resilience is helpful for building a solid foundation and a flexible structure that will not crumble under the pressures in life, and particularly in the workplace. It is helpful for improving self-esteem, mental agility, relationships, and coping strategies for daily challenges. The content in this course could be viewed as a blueprint to help increase your ability to be resilient. Developing resilience is a stress management skill that is helpful to maintain focus and improve confidence to achieve your goals.
